While going through old photos that needed to get blogged, I couldn’t resist these from our trip to Florida this past winter!

Wow, two posts within one week?! Haha.
I’m happy to finally be getting some older photos up on the blog – these ones are from October. It must have been a warm day though, since it looks like I was dressed for summer!
the (almost) perfect bathing suit!
I have featured a swimsuit on this blog once before, but I have to be honest – it’s still a little scary! I’m not one to show a lot of skin, so seeing these photos makes me feel a bit exposed!
celebrate!
Hey folks!
If you thought my last post had a lot of family pics, brace yourselves for this one…it’s a doozy! Don’t worry yourselves though – I’m not going to be doing many posts like these. It’s just that we have had a few family get-togethers in the last few weeks, and I love getting to see everyone! (they are rare since we live at least 2 states away from our nearest family members).
10 years
Dave and I had our 10th wedding anniversary last month.
10 years?! The time has seriously flown by, and it has been amazing! Since we were in Albany at my cousin’s wedding for our actual anniversary, we decided to have a belated celebration.
high boots, high pony
Merry Christmas Eve! I wanted to get this post up yesterday, but ended up taking a nap after work and then packing for our trip to NJ.
Oh, and the temperature here is in the 70s today…crazy!
overdressed
Can you believe Christmas is this week?! Dave and I will be visiting his family in NJ for the holidays, since we were in NY with my parents for Thanksgiving.

Ahhh! I just can’t contain my love for this dress. Isn’t it just amazing?! Ever since ModCloth released their own label this past summer, I have been stalking this dress, just waiting for the price to drop (it’s $99.99…yikes!)
Of course, after months of waiting, the price stayed the same 😦
Recently, however, ModCloth was offering 20% off dresses – plus I had been sitting on gift card money since my birthday in September, so this was the perfect opportunity to buy! Sometimes we just have to treat ourselves to nice things.
little swap, little swapaholics
By now you guys probably know how much I hate the cold weather…but I have to admit – autumn in Massachusetts is lovely!
Dave and I spent a sunny afternoon last week walking around the Minute Man National Historical Park, and although I was sad that most of the colorful leaves had already fallen to the ground, I was thrilled to enjoy the crisp air.
nerd pride
I was definitely a nerd in high school. I was on the math team, robotics team, student government, school newspaper, drama club, student leadership, French club, and in the marching band.
I still consider myself nerdy, so I was excited when students at school asked me to participate in their Nerd Pride day.
