Continue readingAhhh, another summer memory.
Our friends Sara (In a Nutshell blog) and Cody love a restaurant by the seaport area in Boston called The Barking Crab. Dave is obsessed with seafood, so of course he was down. I, on the other hand, don’t like crabs or lobsters (the restaurant’s specialty), but it seemed like a great opportunity to wear my new(ish) Lindy Bop dress!
Wow, my posting has become less and less frequent. I think I’m going to stop apologizing for it, and admit that life can get in the way, and that’s okay!
In April, a colleague of mine told me about Thread and Groove – a record vendor event at Mill No. 5 in Lowell. She knows that Dave and I have a (smallish) record collection and are always on the lookout for more, so we definitely needed to check it out!
Have you ever met someone, and instantly knew you were meant to be with each other?
No, I’m not talking about my husband (although that was the case with him too!)…I’m talking about my blog friend Sara (from In a Nutshell) whom I was finally able to meet in person!
Hey guys! I was recently inspired by Vegas.com and their #ultimatevegasoutfit challenge to share how I would style my look for a day in Las Vegas. I love the challenge because I have only been to Vegas once, and it was when I was 19 – I have been dying to go back since I turned 21 (which was quite a long time ago, haha!)
I’m not a big gambler, but I definitely rock the penny slot machines alongside the grandmas 🙂
Dave and I had our 10th wedding anniversary last month.
10 years?! The time has seriously flown by, and it has been amazing! Since we were in Albany at my cousin’s wedding for our actual anniversary, we decided to have a belated celebration.
Happy Monday!
Before we get to anything else, I want to say how much I love this dress! My last post explained the issues I had with Lindy Bop’s sizing. Two of the dresses I purchased were too big, even though I followed the size chart. What’s even stranger is that I bought this dress in the same exact size, and it fits like a glove! I just don’t get it.
Woohoo, the day is here! I started this blog one year ago, and I am so thrilled with its progress over the last 365 days. I’m sure if you head over to my early posts, you will agree that I have improved – and much of that is because I was able to convince my husband to go out and take photos with me! 🙂
