Let’s first talk about the dress.

Let’s first talk about the dress.
This past weekend, Dave and I headed down to NJ to be with my family. Instead of celebrating a joyous event, sadly we were together because my paternal grandfather passed away.
Hey guys! Today is my birthday, and I wanted to celebrate with a little giveaway!
I know, it might seem strange to give someone a gift for my birthday, but I feel so fortunate to have made new friends through this blog and Instagram, and wanted the opportunity to send some love to one of my readers!
This was a bag that I had initially bought for myself, but then decided it would make a perfect giveaway. It’s brand new (although I already removed the tag- sorry!), and it’s ready to be mailed out to whoever wins!
Such an adorable flamingo wristlet from Betsey Johnson!
I’m hosting the contest on Instagram, so please follow me there (@dressingwithclassblog) to enter.
If you would like an extra entry, leave a comment below! Just make sure that you enter on IG first. I will announce the winner on September 15th, a week from today. Good luck!
There’s no new outfit for today, but instead I will be showing you how I hacked together two sewing patterns to create this apron that I made for my friend Sara from In A Nutshell (and please check out yesterday’s post to see our photos together!)
Although this isn’t a full tutorial, I will be sharing tips on how I combined the patterns (hence “Frankenpattern”)- in case you ever want to tackle something similar!
Have you ever met someone, and instantly knew you were meant to be with each other?
No, I’m not talking about my husband (although that was the case with him too!)…I’m talking about my blog friend Sara (from In a Nutshell) whom I was finally able to meet in person!
