This past Saturday Dave and I went to see Capcom Live featuring the Video Game Orchestra.  We had some time before the show, so we stopped by Assembly Row in Somerville to do some outlet shopping.

On New Year’s Eve, Dave and I went to the Boston Public Library for their holiday tea service!  We have had their afternoon tea twice before and really enjoyed it, so we were excited to see that there was a special holiday menu.

Of course, we first checked out the pre-First Night festivities, such as the ice sculptures and Keytar Bear 🙂

I hope that those of you in the US had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Dave and I traveled to New York to visit my parents, and it was so nice to see them!

So sorry for my week of absence!  Things have been crazy with school starting, my grandmother’s 90th birthday party in New York, then I got sick, and then I broke off a chunk of one of my wisdom teeth….augh.  (After a visit to the dentist and then to the oral surgeon, it was decided to get that bad boy extracted – a fun thing to look forward to for next week! haha)

On Monday, since Dave and I both had off from work, we went out to celebrate my birthday!  It was pretty low key, which was exactly what I wanted.  First we headed into Chinatown for a nice lunch, then did some shopping in Downtown Crossing.   (I ended up getting a really cute jacket at H&M!)

So sorry I didn’t post on Monday!  I was in NYC to attend the National Stationery Show…very fun!  In all of my excitement, I forgot to schedule this post.  Whoops!

My first weekend look on the blog!  My husband and I were hanging out in the city and I was so excited to wear this shirt.  I bought it a while ago, wore it a few times, and then it disappeared.  Apparently, it was hanging out in the depths of my closet, only to be recovered about a year later!
