call me star-lord

What?!  Pants!  Rare, I know – but it has been known to happen before.

My students at work are so used to me wearing dresses and skirts to school, that anytime I wear pants (maybe once a month?) they ask me if I am feeling okay.  LOL!  Once, I wore pants AND had my hair in a ponytail…they thought I was dying! 🙂

My outfit is inspired by Peter’s look in the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel.  The photo above is probably the only one that shows the logo since I was wearing my jacket all day.  If you didn’t see the movie (or forgot what he wore), here it is for you:

Aaaaaaand here’s my best over-confident Star-Lord impression:

My younger brother gave me this shirt for my birthday, which I thought was really sweet!  He’s not the type of person who asks what you want and then gets it – instead he finds something that makes him think of you.  It’s always a surprise.  I have gotten action figures, shirts, weird toys, hugs (for when he is short on cash, haha!), and CDs with songs he has recorded for me (he is a singer/musician).

Dave and I were meeting a friend for brunch the day I wore this, and we were starting to run late because I couldn’t figure out what purse to wear that would match the theme.  Then, he reminded me that I just got this cassette tape clutch from Charming Charlie 2 weeks prior.

How could I not think of this?!?  It was the PERFECT accessory!

I’m hoping to share some pics from Halloween soon, but if you read my blog you know how bad I am at getting posts up.  I’m still SO behind on sharing some of my outfits from summer!

Oh well 🙂  Thanks for stopping by!

Good ol’ Dave with the reminders – what would you do without him? LOL!

I will admit I have only seen parts of this movie but I do appreciate Chris Pratt these days. What a yummy man he became!
