So sorry for the long absence! I know it’s been about a month since my last post… 😦
Things have been really busy recently, mostly due to the stamp/paper crafts company that I co-founded and design for, Altenew. There is a big trade show every year that we attend, and this year it was in Phoenix. I was CRAZY busy December and January leading up to the show the weekend of the 20th.
We were doing last minute design/decor for our booth, plus I had to prepare cards and projects for my TV appearance. (Don’t get too excited…I was on a crafting shopping network that airs in the UK. You can read more about it at the end of this post)
These photos are actually from mid-December, when my in-laws came up to visit Boston. We decided to check out Boston Winter, a little outdoor shopping market they held for a few weeks at City Hall Plaza.
It was just darling! I love the look of the little shops…like a winter wonderland! They also had a skating rink, which looked like a lot of fun. Plus, the wait was a lot less than what I usually see over at the Frog Pond.
After shopping and grabbing some snacks at Boston Winter, we took a stroll to the Common to check out the tree.
Man oh man, tree photos at dusk are tricky! I feel like if the lit tree is properly exposed the subject isn’t, and vice versa. Plus, I think in these photos we look like we were all Photoshopped in (especially the last one with me, Dave, and his parents).
Well, I hope this post puts you in the holiday spirit…in February. Ha!

What a gorgeous look! I love the black and white match between your top and socks, and then the dress-tights-socks-boots combo. Warm, fun, lovely!

Thank you so much Karen! I usually forget how fun/cute it is to wear socks with tights, so I was glad I remembered for this outfit 🙂
Have a great day!

I missed you! It makes me excited to see you in person again this weekend. Boston Winter was cute – but not as big as I expected! Ha! Still, what a fun thing to bring to the city!
Also, loving these boots. They kick butt!!

Since Boston Winter was just at the plaza, there was only room for a few rows of retail huts. It was still awesome though 🙂
