just hand me a whisk

You probably won’t fully appreciate the print of this dress until the last picture, but let me just say that it is AMAZING!  Kitchen utensils, slices of bread, and cute little fish.  It’s perfect!

When I first received it in the mail and tried it on, I actually thought it looked a little frumpy.  Such a disappointment, since I had waited for months and months for it to go on sale before finally purchasing.  I’m so glad that simply adding an elastic belt cinches in the waist and gives the dress more shape.  Hooray!DSC_0711-small DSC_0734-small

Yesterday Dave and I spent some time in Vermont with his parents.  We were only there for one day, and we already want to go back!  Burlington is a lovely city, and seems to be the perfect place to stroll around, enjoy the sunshine, and grab some good food.

On the way back to Massachusetts, we were on a mission to find some maple syrup.  After two failed attempts (closed Sundays!) and a drive over the bridge you see in these photos, we found a small farm which was thankfully open.  What a great day!DSC_0756-small

Thanks Lindsey! Still trying to get the hang of how/where to take photos, and I’m so happy we stumbled upon this bridge!
