just a bird

Wow, my first post!  I’ve been wanting to start a style blog for a while now.  Not because I think I have awesome style (I don’t), or because I feel like I need another blog (maybe one day I will share that one with you…not sure if I want worlds to collide just yet!).   I really just enjoy checking out people’s everyday style, and thought maybe someone out there would want to see mine too!

As a teacher, I always have to be conscious of what I wear to work- for example, the skirt you see here is probably the shortest I will go…and I usually tend to keep hemlines near the knee.

This bird sweater just really makes me laugh!

Each of my outfit posts will include a rundown of what’s in the look.  Some of the pictures of each item will be from the manufacturer or retailer’s websites, and older items will be modeled by me (hence the wrinkles you see in the sweater below, lol).   In case you are curious, I made the product collage in the Stylebook App, which I highly recommend for keeping your closet organized!  I just started using it a few weeks ago, and so far it’s good!

I love this look! The bird sweater is adorable, and I could see myself wearing it to school as well. (I work in elementary schools, too.) I’m looking forward to seeing more posts from you!
